One of Bob Dylan’s guitars was bought at an auction Saturday for $396,500.
An anonymous buyer made the purchase at Heritage Auctions in Dallas, Texas.
The guitar is a 1963 Martin D-28 acoustic that Dylan played at George Harrison’s Concert For Bangladesh in 1971 as well as during Dylan’s famous Rolling Thunder Revue Tour in 1975 and 76.
Dylans’s guitar repairman at the time, Larry Cragg, purchased the guitar from Dylan for $500 in 1977.
He included his receipt in the auction sale.
