Prince Charles and his wife Camilla will be here on Canada Day as the country turns 150. It will be a brief visit, with Charles and Camilla visiting Ottawa and so far unnamed spots in Ontario and Nunavut between June 29th and July 1st. Governor General David Johnston says he’s looking forward to Canadians having the opportunity to showcase the very best that our country has to offer. It will mark the 18th visit to Canada for Prince Charles and the fourth visit for Camilla. The Prince’s Charities Canada helps disadvantaged youth, promotes environmental sustainability and supports indigenous communities. PCC’s director of operations, Matthew Rowe, told CBC that at a time when most people think of retiring at his age, Prince Charles is just ramping up, and taking on more and more.
