For the first time ever, a GO transit driver has been charged with impaired driving. It happened Friday night at the Square One bus depot in Mississauga after a GO transit supervisor noticed the driver and called police. Anne-Marie Aikins with Metrolinx, the company that runs GO, says the driver has been removed from duty pending an internal investigation. The 37-year-old Toronto driver makes his first court appearance in Brampton on April 25th.
