China has has come out with some strict rules for reporting entertainment news.

It’s forbidden reports that promote so-called “western lifestyles,” stories that poke fun at traditional Chinese values, or stories about the love affairs of celebrities.

It won’t allow stories about overnight success and wealth by people who are sefish, and who flaunt their wealth.

China;s State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television wants all news outlets, including new media, to ensure that the stories they publish adopt a positive tone and comply with Communust Party ideologies.
