Former mayoral candidate Doug Ford says he may take another run at the city’s top job in two years. He told the Toronto Sun that he will either challenge Mayor John Tory in 2018 or run provincially with the Progressive Conservative party. Ford is currently working as campaign chair for PC candidate Raymond Cho in the Scarborough-Rouge River byelection. Regarding his future, Ford says he’ll make his political decision next year. It’s not the first time Ford has talked about his political aspirations. He told the media he would seek the Leadership of the Provincial Progressive Conservatives after Tim Hudek stepped down but changed his mind and instead supported Christine Elliot.
