In what could be nominated for a Darwin Award, a YouTube video called “Pokemon GO Problems,” shows a young man walking into various objects, falling over and even walking along the subway tracks in Toronto while looking at his phone. The TTC fails to see the humour in the video, linked to this page. Spokesman Brad Ross says if the man tripped during the recording, he could have been killed or badly injured or even electrocuted by a train adding that it could also have delayed thousands of subway riders. Ross is warning people to stay off the tracks and not to replicate the stunt. The comedian says he waited until right after the train pulled out of Union Station before jumping down onto the tracks AND was only on the tracks for a few seconds, adding he was more worried about getting caught than killed. He said the video was supposed to be a warning to people that they shouldn’t get too invested in Pokemon Go or other video games.
