Scientist Bill Nye, best known for his TV persona “Bill Nye The Science Guy” is touring a new Noah’s ark attraction in Kentucky that he has called a danger to science education. He was invited to tour “Ark Encounter” on Friday by Ken Ham, President of “Answers in Genesis” a ministry dedicated to helping Christians defend their faith. The Christian group says the ark is part of its ministry that teaches Old Testament stories as true historical events. The pair became acquainted when they appeared together in an online debate in 2014. At that time, Nye expressed his concern over the ark, hoping it would never be built because it would indoctrinate children into this “outlandish and unscientific point of view.” The ark opened to the public on Thursday. Nye brought his camera crew along to document the tour.
