Tens of thousands of people lined city streets to wave cheer and fire off water guns at Justin Trudeau.
The parade was not free of controversy.
The entry from Black Lives Matter staged a 30 minute sit-in protest over police involvement in the celebrations.
The parade resumed once Pride officials agreed to ban a police float in next year’s parade.
