Just months after Goodwill stores in Toronto shuttered their doors there is a plan to reopen them.
5 months ago Goodwill of Toronto, Eastern, Central and Northern Ontario closed its doors claiming bankruptcy and laying off 400 employees without warning.
Today – the Toronto Star has learned that Goodwill Great Lakes has agreed to bring back 600 jobs to Toronto.
Unlike Goodwill TECNO, Goodwill Great Lakes boasts revenue of about 23 million dollars last year.
The Star says the jobs are not expected to be filled until early 2017.
