Canada Post could go on strike, or be locked out as early as this weekend.

In preparation, many businesses are encouraging customers to pay their bills online, over the phone or at their local bank – if they’re not doing so already.

50,000 unionized workers are in a legal strike or lockout position as of Saturday if a contract isn’t reached between CUPW and the Crown Corporation.

It means today could be the last day of delivery before a strike because of tomorrow’s holiday.
