David Bowie is being remembered by a variety of artists in Michigan.

A ballet commissioned by the Music Hall Center in Detroit will feature Bowie’s music as well as the music of heavy-metal band Metallica.

Performed by “Complexions Contemporary Ballet” the rock-opera style production will debut on June 18th.

On July 10th, The Detroit Symphony will feature “The Music of David Bowie.

On August 2nd, the Grand Rapids Symphony will perform a tribute to Bowie.
