TransCanada has been given the okay to restart its Keystone pipeline after it was shutdown following a leak in South Dakota.
The leak, discovered April 2nd, spilled about 63 thousand litres of oil into a field in South Dakota, forcing the shutdown of the cross-border pipeline.
A spokesman for Trans Canada says repairs were completed on Saturday.
Mark Cooper says the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration has given Trans Canada formal notice that the line can be restarted with reduced pressure.
