He’s been in space for 340 days, now a Zoomer astronaut says he can’t wait to come back to Earth next week, jump into his pool and have real food at a real table.
Fifty-two year-old Scott Kelly has been on the International Space Station for almost a year, going without running water, serving with eight different crewmates, unpacking six cargo ships, making three spacewalks and most important, taking part in dozens of science experiments.
He says what he’s most looking forward to is being able to spend time with loved ones.
Kelly arrived at the ISS on March 27, 2015, and his time spent orbiting at about 250 miles above earth along with Russian cosmonaut Mikhail Korneinko is about twice as long as any previous U-S mission.
