As we welcome 2016 and ring in the new, it’s time to get rid of some well-worn words, at least according to a U-S university.
Lake Superior University in northern Michigan has released its 41st annual “List of Words Banished from the Queen’s English for Misuse, Overuse and General Uselessness.”
On its 2016 list are words such as “problematic,” “stakeholder,” “physicality,” “price point,” “secret sauce” and “manspreading.”
Manspreading is the term used when a man sits on a public transit seat with his legs spread apart, thus covering two seats.
