Toronto City Councillor Norm Kelly has been voted Canada’s MVT — Most Valuable Tweeter.

Kelly received twice as many votes – more than 34-thousand – as Justin Beiber who came in second.

Kelly also had more votes than Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Toronto teen singer Shawn Mendes and Montreal Canadiens defenceman P.K. Subban.

The poll was done by Twitter Canada.

An avid Tweeter, Kelly garnered fame in the Twitterverse when he defended Toronto’s own Drake in his feud with hip hop singer Meek Mill, and said Meek Mill wasn’t welcome in Toronto.

Kelly was Deputy Mayor under Rob Ford, and was also a Liberal MP under Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau.
