Quebec doctor Guy Turcotte has been found guilty of second-degree murder in the deaths of his little boy and girl.
The 43 year-old Turcotte was facing two charges of first-degree murder in his second trial in the slayings of 5 year-old Olivier and 3 year-old Anne-Sophie who were stabbed to death over six years ago.
In 2011 he was found not criminally responsible by way of mental disorder. That verdict was successfully appealed.
A jury Sunday handed down the guilty verdict in the second trial on their seventh day of deliberations in Saint-Jerome, Quebec.
Sentencing arguments will take place on December 18th.
