Canada’s new Public Safety Minister says there’s nothing to worry about concerning the 25-thousand Syrian refugees the Trudeau government says it’s accepting by the end of this year.

Ralph Goodale says he’s assured U-S Homeland Security Secretary Jay Johnson that everything related to security will be done without compromise, and that all the refugees will be properly screened.

There have been calls for the Liberal government to back away from its campaign promise of accomodating so many refugees by the end of the year, in order to ensure they’ve been fully vetted.

The government says on Tuesday it will give Canadians the details of how it plans to bring the refugees to this country by the end of December.
