The Jazz Foundation of America is awarding Saxophonist Sunny Rollins a lifetime achievement this week. The award will be presented at the 14th annual “A Great Night in Harlem” benefit gala. The show unfolds Thursday at the Apollo Theatre and also features performances by Randy Weston, Ravi Coltrane, Donald Fagen and many more. Actor Danny Glover hosts and Mick Jagger promises to be on hand to honour former Stone back-up singer Merry Clayton.
