Disney says no selfie-sticks, thank you.
Beginning Tuesday, visitors to Disney World in Florida or Disneyland in California will not be allowed to take photos using a selfie-stick. They’re the ubiquitous extenders for cellphone cameras that allow more people or scenery to be in the shot.
But a Disney spokeswoman says they have become a growing safety concern for park guests as well as Disney performers.
On Wednesday, selfie-sticks will also be baned in Disney parks in Hong Kong and Paris.
