Volunteers came out in full force Sunday to sort and pack food donations at Toronto’s Daily Bread Food Bank and send them to locations across the city where they can do the most good.
Daily Bread Executive Director Gayle Nyburg says their goals this year are to collect 150-thousand pounds of food and a cash total of 215-thousand dollars.
Nyburg says donations can be made to the Spring Drive at any Toronto firehall, most grocery stores, or online at www.dailybread.ca.
