TTC FARES GO UP, BUT IT'S FREE FOR KIDS 12 AND UNDER

Getting to work or school Monday morning will cost more for TTC riders.

As of Sunday, fares have gone up.

On the good side, children 12 and younger can ride subways, streetcars and busses for free.

Fare increases have gone into effect, and they include a 10 cents per token hike, meaning seven tokens will go to $19.60 from $18.90.

Packages of ten for seniors and students will jump one dollar to $19.50

Cash fares stay the same at $3.00 for adults, and $2.00 for students and seniors.

Metropasses for adults have jumped from $133.75 to $141.50.   Student and senior Metropasses have jumped four dollars to $112…… day passes by 50 cents to $11.50.
