Oliver Stone’s latest project is a motion picture about Edward Snowdon.  He’s the man who made public hundreds of classified NSA documents after leaving his job at the American signals intelligence agency, and fleeing to Russia for asylum.   He’s been called both a hero and a traitor.

Stone’s new movie is based on a pair of books,  “The Snowdon Files:  The Inside Story of the World’s Most Wanted Man,” and “Time of the Octopus” written by Snowdon’s Russian lawyer.

The cast for Stone’s film includes Melissa Leo, Joseph GordonLevitt, Zachary Quinto, and Tom Wilkinson.

The film is due to be released Christmas Day.
