A member of an iconic Hollywood family has passed away.
Samuel Goldwyn Junior was the son of one of Hollywood cinema’s founding fathers. His son says Goldwyn died Friday from congestive heart failure at the age of 88.
In the 70s and 80s he produced low-budget films like “Cotton Comes To Harlem,” and “Mystic Pizza” starring Julia Roberts.
Goldwyn headed one of Hollywood’s largest independent film companies, with “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty” being his last production in 2013.
His father was was a founder of Paramount Studios.
