The Ontario Fire Marshal’s office continues its investigation into a fire that destroyed two trendy Toronto restaurants Christmas night.

So far investigators say it’s too early to determine the cause of the million dollar blaze in the building that housed Sotto Sotto Restaurant and Spuntini Ristorante on Avenue Road near Davenport.

Toronto Fire had called it suspicious, but the Fire Marshal hasn’t yet given it that label.

Peter Hamilton with the Fire Marshal’s office says the investigation could take several days.

On Saturday, people connected with the restaurant were seen trying to salvage some of the many photos from Sotto Sotto that show famous diners from Brad Pitt to Oprah Winfrey, to Drake, a regular.
