The four leading candidates in the race to become Toronto’s next mayor squared off in Etobicoke Friday night.

The debate between Rob Ford, John Tory, Olivia Chow and David Sokncki, was held at the Royal Canadian Legion on Jutland Road near the Queensway and Islington Avenue, and was presented by the Etobicoke chapter of CARP, A New Vision of Ageing.

Transit funding was a hot topic in the debate, with candidates demanding to know exactly how their opponents would pay for their pet projects; either above or below ground.

The municipal elections take place on October 27th.
