He’s cycling across Canada to make us aware about the importance of organ donation.

Ron Hahn of Edmonton received a kidney from his father in 2006 after suffering two years with kidny failure.  He says coping wirh renal failure was like having a permanent hangover with a constant headache and no energy.

Hahn says as soon as he woke up after his kidney transplant he could feel life returning to his body.

On his cross-Canada bike ride of about 90 kilometres a day, Hahn has been telling people how they could save a life by signing an orgam donor card.

He bagan his 86-hundred-kilometre ride on June 5th in Tofino, British Columbia, and he expects to end it sometime in September in St. John’s Newfoundland.
