The Ontario government has earmarked 100 million-dollars for the first phases of its Ontario Place revitalization. And it will start in the next few months.
Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sport Michael Coteau says the first phase will include a new urban park and a waterfront trail, and it’s scheduled to be open next year.
Coteau says there will not be any residential development, including condos.
Additional phases will include waterfront shops and restaurants.
