CHORAL CONDUCTOR PAUL SALAMUNOVICH DIES

A prominent choral music director who had a hand in motion picture scores has died.

Paul Salamunovich died Thursday at the age of 85 of complicatons related to the West Nile Virus.

Salamunovich was the longtime director of the Los Angeles Master Chorale, and helped score motion pictures such as The Godfather. 

Through live performances and recordings he exposed mllions to choral music. 

The Grammy-nominated conductor also helped score the soundtracks on “How The West Was Won” and “A.I. Artificial Inelligence.”
