SHEILA MacRAE DEAD AT 83

Sheila MacRae has died. 

MacRae played Alice Kramden on the re-creation of Jackie Gleason’s The Honeymooners in the 1960s.

Audrey Meadows was the originator of the role opposite Gleason who played Ralph Kramden, a New York City bus driver.

MacRae, a veteran stage, TV and film performer, played Alice Kramden from 1966 to 1970.

She was married to singer Gordon MacRae from 1941 to 1970, and was the mother of acrtress Meredith MacRae.

Sheila MacRae died Thursday at the age of 93
