Toronto Mayor Rob Ford is now accused of being a jaywalker.

The Mayor was stopped by a police officer yesterday in Vancouver and was told he had crossed the street against a red light.

He was given a 109-dollar ticket.  Ford says he was walking across the street near his hotel when it happened.

He denies one report that says he was also ticketed for being drunk in a public place.

The Mayor says he’s in Vancouver for the funeral of a friend’s mother.

Police are not saying anything.  The say they don’t comment on incidents involving celebrities
