One of the world’s best-known storm chasers died in Friday’s deadly Oklahoma tornado.
Fifty-five year-old Tim Samaras died along with his twenty-four year-old son Paul and fellow storm chaser, forty-five year-old Carl Young while they were tracking storms.
Tim Samaras, who has been chasing storms for 30 years, was a regular contributor to National Geographic and also featured on Discovery Channel’s Storm Chasers program alongside Carl Young.
