There’s an interesting list of images the Bank of Canada decided not to put on its new plastic bank notes.
The list of 41 image proposals included black hockey players, gay marriages and ethnic children making a snowman.
The bank has a long-standing policy of avoiding depicting ethnic groups, and opted instead to put a ship, a train, a war monument, a robot arm and medical innovations on the bank notes.
