Frank Page, the voice of the legendary Louisiana Hayride radio show, has died at age 87.

The veteran radio broadcaster helped introduce Elvis Presley to worldwide audiences through his work with the Hayride — Louisiana’s version of the Grand Ole Opry.

Presley sang “That’s Alright, Mama” on the Hayride in October of 1954, just weeks after recording a song on the Sun label.
