With rising repair costs and investment badly needed, plans to use parts of Casa Loma as a Toronto museum are moving ahead.
The Toronto Star reports the city is looking for ideas from potential operators and will soon send out requests for expressions of interest.
The building needs more than $9 million in exterior repairs. Further funding will also be needed for upgrades to indoor plumbing and heat.
Casa Loma turned in $900,000 in profit last year after its operations were taken over by the City of Toronto.
