Russian pianist Pavel Kolesnikov has been named the Prize Laureate of the 2012 Honens International Piano Competition.
The 23-year-old Kolesnikov receives the $100-thousand dollar Enbridge Prize and an artistic and career development program valued at a half million dollars — the largest award of its kind in the world.
The Honens International Piano Competition is a leader in discovering and launching the careers of young concert pianists.
