West Nile virus is hitting Ontario harder than any other province so far this year.
As of yesterday, health officials say there were 82 confirmed or probable West Nile infections in the province — all in southern Ontario.
Quebec, Alberta, Manitoba and Saskatchewan have also reported human cases of the mosquito-borne disease, but their numbers are far lower.
There have been no reports of anyone dying from West Nile Virus this year.
