This final day of the London Olympics is also a day to remember the nearly three-million children that die every year from a lack of proper food.
British Prime Minister David Cameron and Brazil’s vice president are co-hosting a Global Hunger Event today in London, in the hopes of finding new ways to tackle malnutrition.
They’re hoping global leaders will work to improve nutrition among the world’s poorest children by the next Summer Games in Brazil in 2016.
