Little comes with post adoption support!
Looking for a little extra love? Check out this snuggly, shy sweetheart. Although she is a senior on paper, Little a kitten at heart. Her favourite games are the ones that involve her people. She loves a good game of hide-and-go-seek or playing chase. Just a heads up, she’s very fast! Little is a self-proclaimed foodie. She loves treats and she’s not afraid to use her not-so-little voice to let you know it’s snack time. Having a regular routine with her feedings is the key to heart – it’ll help you build trust with her.
Little is often shy in new environments and meeting new people is a lot for her. But she’s very communicative with her body language when she starts feeling scared. It’s best to take a little break, and then talk to her sweetly. All she needs is some patience and treats and she’ll warm up.
She’s also been learning some tricks while in her foster home. She knows the classics, like sit, pretty (sits on her butt and reaches up), paw, and come and touch. Her new training, along with a steady routine, has helped her deal with her fear. Once she’s comfortable, her true playful, snuggly self emerges. Every morning she must receive her daily scratches. As soon as you’re awake, she’ll wants all the attention and knows exactly how to get it – by batting her cute kitten eyes at you. She’s hard to resist. She spends most of her day sleeping, cuddling up in warm sunspots, and window watching.
Little’s ideal home would be one with lots of spaces to explore, good nap spots, and a family that is willing to continue working with Little to improve her confidence. There is nothing more rewarding that wining over the trust of a shy cat and making them your forever friend!
