The CEO of the Toronto Zoo, Dolf Dejong, joined The Morning Zoom with Sam and Jane to celebrate the 50th birthday of one of the Toronto Zoo’s oldest and one of its original members, Charles the Western Lowland Silverback gorilla! We discussed with him how Charles has grown up at the zoo, the family he’s raised, and how he’s taken care of in his senior years.
