Here’s a chance to own a real piece of Beatles’ history.
A letter from The Beatles’ manager following the sacking of the band’s original drummer is up for auction.
Brian Epstein signed up Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison and Pete Best in 1962 after seeing them at Liverpool’s Cavern Club.
A couple of months later, he fired Best and replaced him with Ringo Starr.
The letter was sent to Joe Flannery, the band’s booking manager, who died last year at the age of 87.
The letter was kept by Flannery’s family and is now being sold by his nephew
The letter goes on the block October 27th in England.   There’s no pre-sale price at the moment but the first contract the Beatles signed with Epstein sold last year for
almost $500,000 CAD.
