Henry Lees and Sue and Dwight Peters stopped by Afternoon Express on April 4, 2019 to tell us all about the 60’s Folk Revival Hootenanny at Toronto’s Eton House on April 6th!
The evening will bring three groups together who are all well versed in the songs of the era. Beverlie (Sammons) Robertson and Klaas VanGraft of Canada’s iconic folk trio The Chanteclairs will reprise the tunes that made them favourites at Yorkville coffee houses, concert halls, festivals, and stadiums around the world. Where Have All the Folk Songs Gone? has been reviving tunes of the era for over seven years at their singalong shows in Toronto and across southern Ontario. The evening will open with a set by the newly formed The Greatest Hits of Peter, Paul and Mary. These groups feature Toronto musicians Sue and Dwight, Michelle Rumball, Henry Lees, and Tony Laviola.
