Hi, I’m Gene Stevens – here’s what’s coming up on the next ‘Vintage Favourites’.

It’s a golden show for the Golden State – California statehood September 9th, 1850 is the inspiration for a fabulous one hour salute to the land of hopes and dreams,  sunny beaches, snowy mountains and steamy desert, legendary highways and some wonderful songs, from Al Jolson to the Beach Boys.

Then a couple of birthday salutes to two men who led jazzy rock bands, or was it rockin’ jazz bands … we’ll find out, with a triple play salute to Peter Cetera of Chicago and a lengthy Vintage Canadiana spotlight on David Clayton-Thomas of Blood, Sweat & Tears’ fame.
