Even though he had been predicting it and even joking about it in the lyrics of his own songs for years, the whole Zoomer Radio family was stunned by the announcement of the death of Leonard Cohen.

Our tributes to Leonard will be ongoing through the weekend, including a special Moses Znaimer edition of The Leonard Show on Saturday and Sunday at 4:30pm, followed by a one-hour Leonard Cohen special on The Immortals, with highlights from the various luminaries who have hosted The Leonard Show over the last couple of years.

Master storyteller Larry Jackson has also prepared a special tribute on Saturday’s Celebrity Spotlight at 3:30, and the rest of the Zoomer Radio team will be offering their own thoughts and remembrances starting with Norm Edwards’ Afternoon Express at 3pm Friday.
