In 1983, Moses produced ‘I Am A Hotel’, which he describes as “the first narrative TV music video of higher purpose and elegant tone.‎” The video featured Leonard as the detached but sympathetic storyteller, figure skating champion Toller Cranston, actress Alberta Watson, dancers and choreographers Robert Desrosiers and Claudia Moore, and National Ballet of Canada founder Celia Franca.

I Am A Hotel was shot at Toronto’s storied King Edward Hotel and was inspired by Leonard’s ‎song “The Guests”. Watch here and listen for “Memories”, “Chelsea Hotel #2”, “the Gypsy’s Wife” and “Suzanne”. ‎
