The great Neil Sedaka is performing in Toronto this month. The legendary singer and songwriter spoke with AM 740’s Robbie Lane about his lengthy career.
“I’ve written over 700 songs in the last 60 years,” Sedaka explained, “I started as a child prodigy when I was 8 years old and got a scholarship to the Juilliard School in New York, the prep school, and then attended the college. So, I’ve been singing since 1958, but before that I had every intention of becoming a concert pianist.”
