City strategist David Pecaut was known for co-founding the Luminato Festival and spearheading a plan to restore Toronto’s tourism after the SARS crisis. In 2009, he died of colorectal cancer at the age of 54. His widow, Helen Burstyn, has written a book about his life his work and his ideas.
