Tune in all week to celebrate with special memories from your favourite Zoomer Radio jocks and of course, The Original Greatest Hits starting with Breakfast Radio, then it’s Fight Back with Libby Znaimer, followed by The Number Ones at 1, Afternoon Express, an evening of music from the 60s, 70s and 80s with rocker Robbie Lane, Theatre of the Mind – Great Comedy and Drama from The Golden Age of Radio, and finally Ziggy’s romantic Stardust and racy, radical, and riotous Midnight Blue back-to-back –programs that make Zoomer Radio the most unique station on the AM and FM dial.
Moses, ZoomerMedia’s Founder, made a special one-hour appearance this past Sunday on a 20th anniversary edition of Vintage Favourites and spoke with host Gene Stevens on an array of subjects from his Citytv commission of People City as a love song to Toronto, his Zoomer Philosophy, the genius of Leonard Cohen (and which new songs he wants put into Zoomer Radio’s permanent rotation), the value of radio when times are tough, and why you don’t have to be a Zoomer to love Zoomer Radio.
