Host Libby Znaimer is joined by Canadian Soprano Measha Bruggergosman, who had emergency open-heart surgery in 2009. Measha talks about the effect it had on both her career and personal life. She also gives tips on the symptoms of heart disease that all women should know. Plus, CARP has declared 2012 the year to end elder abuse. Minister of State for Seniors Alice Wong recently held an round-table discussion on the subject, and invited key lobbyists such as CARP. We’ll hear from the Minister, as well as CARP’s VP of Advocacy Susan Eng. And Sam Cooke’s Birthday is celebrated with some musical highlights from his impressive songbook!
