Zoomer, Emma Thompson has reached back 110 years for the inspiration for her latest literary outing.
The British actress and writer has written the first authorized sequel to Beatrix Potter’s, “The Adventures of Peter Rabbit” which was published in 1902.
Thompson’s “The Further Adventures of Peter Rabbit”, follows Peter to Scotland.
Thompson says reviving Potter’s classic is quote: “continuing a tradition, holding hands with someone I have always revered”.
“The Further Adventures of Peter Rabbit” will be released September 18th.
