ROYAL CONSERVATORY BOASTS MANY ALUMNI AMONG ATHLETES

The Royal Conservatory Of Music has a proud connection to the London Olympics. Of the 277 athletes representing Canada - 19 are alumni of the Conservatory.  Classically-trained pianists, cellists and clarinetists are among the Canadians competing in a wide range of events. And there are many former Canadian Olympians with a Conservatory connection  including rower  Silken Laumann and equestrian, Beth Underhill.
